Trusting God on the Journey

Last week, the children’s sermon was on Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.” The development of this new website took much longer than any of our team imagined. About halfway through the process we were kind of discouraged as it appeared to be coming together rather slowly. The beautiful thing was that as paused to regroup, we were able to see God shaping the website and ultimately He was the master designer.

Sometimes our life journeys may take longer to come into focus than we want. If we commit to trusting God throughout the journey, we will glean all of the beautiful blessings and revelations in more meaningful ways than if rush through to the finish line. This sometimes means slowing down, keeping our eyes and hearts focused on God’s will and God’s timing.
